Meet Terry & Yvonne
– the Heart Behind Our Farm
Terry is a man of many talents and a lifetime of hard work. A former home builder, property manager, roofing contractor, commercial condo owner, and even pizza restaurant owner, he’s worn many hats over the years. Now retired, Terry is living the peaceful life he once dreamed of—surrounded by open pastures, a custom-built barn, and all the "toys" that come with country living.
Three years ago, Terry discovered a brand-new passion: raising Miniature Nubian Dairy Goats.
What started as curiosity has turned into a true labor of love as he now works to perfect the breed with each freshening. A devoted husband, father, grandfather (Papa), and great-grandfather, Terry still defies his age with daily walks to the barn to care for their herd of 11 goats, along with chickens, guineas, and a spirited rooster. His love for building lives on through his never-ending barn upgrades and creative farm projects.
Yvonne, a retired Special Education teacher, didn’t originally share Terry’s enthusiasm for goats—until she met the first one. It was love at first sight.
Her heart for children and animals has always been central to her life. Whether she’s outside enjoying the quiet beauty of the farm, volunteering with nonprofits, refinishing furniture, or managing the behind-the-scenes side of the business, Yvonne finds joy in staying busy and connected.
Before retiring, Yvonne served as a youth ministry administrator—a role that deepened her passion for helping children. That path led her to become a dedicated Special Education teacher. Today, she continues to share her gifts by working part-time as a reading tutor at a local elementary school.
Together for over 38 years, Terry and Yvonne have built a life full of adventure, faith, and a whole lot of heart. Their farm is more than just land and animals—it’s a lifelong dream come true.
